For those of you who don’t (slash are pretending not to) know the story of Linda Lovelace, she was a porno star back in the late 70s early 80s, in a film elegantly entitled ‘Deep Throat’. Not that we’ve seen it or anything, (awkward face), but we have seen the recently premiered film staring Amanda Seyfried as Linda, following her struggles for freedom from the adult film industry.
A stunningly emotive piece of cinema that captures the raw truth behind the story in such a way that would make anyone question their own preconceptions of others. If there’s one film to see this month, it’s this one.
